I love poetry and I teach it too. I bought this book to add to my teaching resource collection. I must say that the book really struck a chord in me. Through the author’s simple easy to follow structured poems, the author weaves her views about the vicious cycle of life in the animal kingdom – and man being the ultimate beast. Her best work in my view in displaying this insight is the “Bushfire and the Pup”. The re-frame of writing poems from the lens of the injured and dying animals is powerfully engaging and emotionally moving. Great experience.Product details

What a lovely collection of poetry Josie has compiled in Tiger's Night. So creative and sensitive. There were a few that particularly resonated with me. I really enjoyed this little book.
Ms. Josie Cluney's recently published ebook is actually a collection of her beautiful poetry. Her book, Tiger's Night are sets of poetry that makes good use of symbolism and rhyme. One just can't help to be drawn with each of her work...Because, short poems they maybe, one cannot deny it's good quality. Kudos to you Ms. Cluney !!!
Josie sure has some talent! I read this book because I love creative expression and especially rhymes - there's just something about them. Josie has clearly put effort into these. The actual poem 'Tiger's Night' is an excellent introduction into her work. I think there is room for improvement (there always is, isn't there?) - but maybe that's just me being too picky with how things flow and rhyme, it's a creative expression anyway! Overall a quality read if you're into works of creativity!
